| 2004 – 2008 | SR founded Steffen Rønn Fondsmæglerselskab in Copenhagen DK (SRF) based on the success of the GVG principles. Within 3 years SRF was a well known name in the industry with 12 employees and more than €200 million under management. SRF was sold to a bank in June 2007 for close to €19 million. Ultimo 2007 SR resigned his management duties and concentrated on equity management. The GVG principles has made SR outperform the equity benchmarks more than 10% annually since 1999 with only 3 negative years. |
| 1993 – 2004 | Merrill Lynch International (MLI). Started the Scandinavian desk for Ultra High Net Worth Individuals. Team of 10+ employees and from 1996 focusing on managing the equity part of the client assets (From 1999 only working with the GVG-principles). The last 5 years SR was in the top-200 most profitable in MLI and terminated his contract in spring 2004 as 1stVice President – Investments |
